Kaylee Q. Karam-Duarte, born August 11, 2000, in Toledo, Ohio, passed away on May 18, 2026, in the same city she called home. At just 25 years old, Kaylee’s vibrant spirit and loving heart left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.
A graduate of Northview High School’s class of 2018, Kaylee was a dedicated and talented cosmetologist for eight years. Her career was more than just a job; it was a passion where she expressed creativity and care, qualities she infused into every relationship and endeavor. She was also a gifted artist who found joy and solace in music and crochet, always cherishing the moments spent with her beloved family.
Kaylee’s life was a testament to selflessness, generosity, and unwavering support. She was the epitome of love, whether as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, or granddaughter. The love of her life, Nathaniel, became her husband on October 21, 2023, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey they walked together. Motherhood was Kaylee’s proudest accomplishment, a role she embraced wholeheartedly. She was blessed to be the mother of two precious daughters: Brynlee, born February 2, 2025, and Bailee, born on May 17, 2026. Her dedication to her children and family was at the core of her identity, and her nurturing nature created a warm, loving home filled with kindness and care.
Kaylee’s personality was a shining light loving, caring, selfless, and thoughtful. She was the confidante and supporter who could always be counted on in times of need. Family was paramount to her, and her devotion extended to her parents Tiffany and Steven Karam, her sisters Sarah (Lucas) Sturt and Kylie (Riley) Kendall, her nephews Levi and Mason Sturt, niece Sadie Sturt, and her grandparents Shirley Karam and Harold Price. She was also cherished by her in-laws Carrie and Antonio Duarte and treasured her brother-in-law Anthony Duarte.
While we mourn the loss of Kaylee, we also honor her memory alongside the cherished memories of her late grandparents, Richard Karam and Evelyn Voulgaris, whose legacies live on in her heart and family.
A visitation will be held on May 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, Ohio 43623. Following will be the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the same location.
Kaylee’s journey was one of profound love and devotion. Though her time with us was far too short, her gentle spirit, artistic soul, and boundless love for her family and friends will forever remain in our hearts. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength, a true testament to the remarkable young woman she was. To know Kaylee was to feel embraced by her warmth and compassion, and her memory will be a guiding light for those she loved most.
