Karen S. White

Karen S. White, born on December 6, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a profound impact on the lives of those who knew her.

Karen dedicated much of her life to her passion for beauty and music. As a skilled hairstylist and makeup artist, she was known not only for her talents but also for her ability to bring joy and confidence to those around her. Her musical journey extended into her role as an organist at her church, where she shared her love for music with the community. Additionally, Karen served as the treasurer of Lake County in Michigan for many years, showcasing her commitment to public service and leadership.

Education was important to Karen; she graduated from high school and pursued further studies in music, which became a cornerstone of her life. She was an engaging and vivacious personality, known for her great sense of humor and ability to light up any room. Family gatherings, especially during the holidays, were cherished moments for her, reflecting her deep love for her family.

Karen was proud of her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, and she took immense pride in her great grandchildren, particularly Sawyer and Paxton. She is survived by her beloved children: Paul Edward (Sue) White Jr., Susan White, and Charles (Kristy) White, along with her eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also mourned by a host of extended family and friends who will miss her kindness, generosity, and outgoing spirit.

In addition to her family, Karen enjoyed life to the fullest through her hobbies. She loved shopping and often spent time at the casino, where she reveled in the excitement of the games.

Karen was predeceased by her husband Paul White, parents Jack and Alberta Nance, and a sister, who will be waiting for her with open arms.

Her memory will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends who were touched by her vibrant spirit and unwavering love. Karen S. White will be lovingly remembered and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
