Judith A. Pitchford

Judith A. Pitchford, age 86, of Bowling Green, OH passed away peacefully, February 24, 2026. She was born March 9, 1939 in Toledo to George and Carol (McCarthy) Miller. Judith was a 1957 graduate of Libbey High School. Upon graduation, Judith worked at Jeep until she became a mom in 1965. She raised her family and then started working at Toledo Public Schools for more than 30 years.

In addition to her parents, Judith was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Pitchford who she married March 9, 1957; son, Michael Pitchford; sister, Beverly Grosbeth and nephews, Steven Engelhardt and Kevin Pitchford. She is survived by her son, Mark (Lisa) Pitchford; grandchildren, Tylor Pitchford, Kersten Pitchford and Gracee Pitchford; great-grandchildren, Makenna Pitchford, Makynlee Pitchford and Easton Pitchford; siblings, Nancy Engelhardt, Sue (Rollie) Stevens and Thomas Miller. The family would like to thank Nannie Ovietdo, Judith's angel for her loving care and friendship she gave to Judith. Also special thank you to the wonderful staff at Elara Hospice for their loving care of Judith.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 West Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43606.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Judith's memory.
