Judith A. "Judy" Leck

Judith A. “Judy” Leck, age 83, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026, at The Waterford at Levis Commons. She was born on August 18, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio, to Erwin and Marilyn (Gilbert) Haldy.

Judy was employed at Maumee City Schools for over 25 years as a classroom assistant, where she dedicated her time to helping students. She enjoyed spending time at the family cottages at Devil’s Lake and Deep Lake, making memories with those she loved. Above all, Judy treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading and working on word search puzzles.

Judy’s greatest joy was her family, and she will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ron Leck and Randy (Laura) Leck; grandchildren, Paige (Jeffrey), Dylan, Kaylee (Drake), Ryan, Elaina, Kara, Caden, Jacob, and Jillian; and great-grandson, Thomas. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael Haldy and Ron (Pamela) Haldy and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Sincere Palliative Care and Hospice, especially Karyn, for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion shown to Judy during her final days.

Judy will be forever loved and remembered by her family, who will cherish the many memories and special moments they shared with her.

A Memorial for family only will be held at a later date at Devils Lake.
