Judith A. Croley

Judith A. "Judy" Croley, age 82, of Waterville, OH passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital with loving family by her side. She was born on May 16, 1941 to Thomas and Gertrude (Royston) Boatfield in Toledo, OH. Judy graduated from Whitmer High School. She worked at JCPenney in custom decorating for over 10 years. Judy was a longtime member of the Red Hat Society.

She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. Judy loved spending time with her family and friends. Her passion was her family, and caring for them. She loved traveling with her husband and soulmate John. Judy had a heart of gold and was very caring. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Haak in 1974. Left to cherish Judy's memory are her devoted husband of 50 years, John Croley; children, David Haak, Sherri (Steve Coutchure) Hauck, Melissa Croley, John (Cindy) Croley III, and Ryan (Annie) Croley; numerous grandchildren; brother, Tom (Karen) Boatfield; 2 nephews; and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
