Joyann "Joy" Miller Bilek

Joyann (Joy) Miller Bilek, 68, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, at St. Clare Commons, surrounded by loved ones, after a battle with dementia.

She was married to John Bilek for 25 years, and together they raised three children: John Bilek Jr., Victoria (Kyle) Vogel, and Ashley (Michael) Graf. She later married Edgar Kilbride, gaining two stepchildren, Ian (Jennifer) and Wendy (Ramon) Kilbride.

Joy was a private and independent spirit who found joy in the quieter things in life like reading, puzzles, discovering new places to eat, and traveling with Ed when she could. She spent much of her professional life as a dedicated bookkeeper for Laurie’s Food Loft, Hahn & Hayes and Attitudes A Salon.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren; Lainey, Case, Logan, Kyleigh, Ella, Nikolai, Nicholas, Aiden, and Chloe, as well as her brother (Jim Miller), sister & brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Joy was preceded in death by her husband Ed Kilbride, parents Benjamin and Patricia Miller, brother Jeff Miller, and best friend Jill Davila.

Per Joy’s wishes, there will be no funeral or formal service. Her family encourages you to honor her memory in your own way.
