Jose Orlando Tique

Jose Orlando Tique, of Fort Wayne, IN. and a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2025, in Lima, Ohio. He was born on December 16, 1968, in Pereira Risaralda, Colombia, and carried with him a profound pride for his Colombian roots throughout his life.

Jose dedicated many years to his career in truck driving, a profession that allowed him to embrace his passion for the open road and travel. He relished the freedom and adventure that came with his job, often sharing tales of his journeys with friends and family. Those stories were always accompanied by his friendly demeanor and a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his loving mother, Paulina Tique Rodriguez, who held a special place in his heart, and by his siblings: Luz Dary Tique, Amparo Velasquez Tique, Luis Fernando Velasquez Tique, and Bertha Tique. Jose also cherished the friendship of Amy Vasquez, who was a dear friend while far from his family.
