Jon S. Rickenberg

Jon S. Rickenberg, 62, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on October 21, 2026. Born in Bryan, Ohio on May 25, 1964, Jon was the son of the late William and Marion (Bauman) Rickenberg. Jon most recently worked at Donaldson Ace Hardware in Bryan, where he was treated like family and developed many close friendships over the years. He enjoyed planning summer get-togethers for his mother's birthday, hosting 4th of July celebrations, and cooking on the grill. He was devoted to caring for his mother in her final years at home. 

He is survived by his sons, Abram Rickenberg of Westfield, Indiana, and Isaac Rickenberg of Elk Grove, Illinois; 4 grandchildren; former step-daughter, Alicia Stacy of Edgerton, Ohio; and siblings, Michael (Kathy) Rickenberg of St. Marys, Georgia, Kay Carter of Richland, Missouri, Cheryl Sanders of Fredericktown, Ohio, Sharon Lawrence of Toledo, Ohio, and Connie (Terry) Riddle of Rocky Mount, Missouri, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Rickenberg.

A celebration of Jon's life will be held at a later date.
