John Richard Tuttle Sr., age 83, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away, surrounded by his loved ones, on November 25, 2024. He was born January 21, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Forrest and Relda (Wheating) Tuttle.
John worked many years as a press operator for Toledo Metal Spinning, where he was known not only for his skill, but also for his unwavering dedication to his craft. His strong work ethic and commitment to excellence earned the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of those who had the pleasure of working with him.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, John proudly served in the Army National Guard. His military service instilled in him a sense of duty and honor that he carried throughout his life.
John's warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew him. A devoted family man, he cherished his time with loved ones, creating a legacy of love and support that will be fondly remembered by those who were fortunate to be part of his life. His spirit will continue to shine through the memories he leaves behind.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving children, Marie (William) Daleska, Marilyn (Rick) Meyer, Lisa Billings, Wendy (Bill Egan) Tuttle, and John (Peggy) Tuttle Jr.; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra Lee Tuttle; son-in-law, Stephen Billings; and many other loved ones.
