John H. Timmer

John H. Timmer, age 65, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026, at Heatherdowns Rehabilitation and Residential Care Center. Born in Los Angeles, CA, on February 7, 1961, to John and Nancy (Light) Timmer, John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1979-1985, he then went onto serve in the US Army Reserves from 1985-1989. His passion for the open road led him to a career as a truck driver, where he found joy in his travels.

John is lovingly remembered by his wife, Karen Timmer; his children, Chris Timmer, Kenny Timmer, April (Jamison) Bashaw, Angela Bailey, Brandy (Roberto) Castro, and Robert (Ashley) Hannigan; 17 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and his sister, Pam (Jon) Wrigley. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a still born daughter, Laura.
