John Myslinski Jr., age 78, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on November 2, 2024, at St. Anne Hospital, surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. John was born on June 23, 1946, in Toledo, to the late John and Helen (Grabowski) Myslinski.
John attended Macomber High School, from which he graduated class of 1964. He dedicated a significant part of his professional life to Dana Incorporated in Toledo, Ohio, where he worked with unwavering commitment for 30 years before retiring. His contributions to the company reflected both his strong work ethic and his dedication to his craft.
Outside of his career, John was known for his love of the outdoors. He found immense joy in fishing and often took trips to the Upper Peninsula and southern Ohio for hunting. His adventures extended to Florida, where he relished visiting his sister. John also enjoyed going to Mackinac Island, where he could unwind and appreciate the beauty of his surroundings.
John was a man who loved gathering with friends and family. He cherished cookouts, where laughter filled the air, and great stories were shared around the grill. John was also a proud member of the Commodore Club of Toledo for over three decades, where he embraced the opportunity to socialize and meet new friends, adding another layer of connection to his life.
John will be remembered not only for his hard work but also for his kindness, humor, and the delightful stories he shared. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and love that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Susan (Sulinski) Myslinski; three children, Michael Myslinski, Mark (Kelly) Myslinski, and Patrick (Diana) Myslinski; three grandchildren, Zachery, Gillian, and Carson; brother, Norman (Barbara) Myslinski; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, James, brother, Daniel; and two sisters, Dolores and Virginia.
