John Albert Bork passed away on December 16, 2025. He was born on June 8, 1956, and was a graduate of Bedford High School. John was an imaginative and intelligent man who took pride in his work and passions. He spent many years as a truck driver, a career he genuinely enjoyed. In his free time, he was an avid NASCAR fan, finding excitement and joy in the sport. One of his most cherished memories was taking his daughter to a NASCAR race—an experience he held close to his heart.

John also enjoyed spending time talking with his brother Thaddeus about lawn equipment and business ideas. He had long aspired to build a successful lawn company and took pride and happiness in seeing his brother achieve that dream.

John is survived by his only daughter, Kimberly Bork (Robert Mossing), and his two beloved grandchildren, Genevieve Bork and Thomas Mossing. He is also survived by his sisters, Genevieve “Bonnie” Moyer, Mary Jo Swartz, Dorthia Bettinger, and Elizabeth Fox; and his brothers, Thomas “Tommy” Bork and Phillip Bork. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children. He was preceded in death by his father, John “Dutch” Bork; his mother, Genevieve Bork; and his brothers, Daniel Bork and Thaddeus Bork.

A memorial gathering to honor John’s life will be held on January 10, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Kimberly, in Maumee, Ohio. Please contact 419-290-0381 for the address. John will be remembered for his intelligence, creativity, and the quiet pride he took in his family and interests. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
