Jessie D. Byers

Jessie Diane (Warner) Byers, 72, of Fremont, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2026. She was surrounded by family and friends.

Diane was born December 11, 1953 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to Juanita Warner and Jesse Warner. She later made her home in Fremont, where she built a life centered on love, family, and compassion. After graduating, she married the love of her life, Jim Byers, and together, they raised three sons: Daniel, James Jr., and William.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and Jesse; her sisters, Prissella "Cookie" Neil and Karen Howell; as well as her beloved husband, Jim Byers.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy Henry; her three sons, their partners; as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and generosity.

Diane will be remembered for her sense of humor, boundless kindness, and selfless spirit. She dedicated much of her life to helping others, whether by caring for stray and abandoned animals or opening her home to family members in need. Her door was always open, and her heart even more so.
