Jeffery L. Williams

Jeffery L. Williams, affectionately known as "Bones," was born on August 28, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio. His journey in this world concluded on August 1, 2025, also in Toledo. As a professional painter for John Williams Painting for 25 years, Jeffery dedicated himself to his craft and earned a reputation for his diligent work ethic and commitment to excellence. In addition to his painting career, he also spent many years at Keith Contracting Service, where he further honed his skills and contributed to various projects in the community.

Education played an important role in Jeffery's foundation, having attended Roger's High School. However, it was his life beyond academics that truly defined him. He possessed a big heart, known for his generosity, love, and unwavering positive mindset, even in the face of illness. His ability to keep a sense of humor throughout life's challenges endeared him to many.

Jeffery was a loving son to his mother, Evelyn Williams, whom he assisted around the house with care and devotion. He cherished his role as a father and was immensely proud of his children, Brittney Williams and Austin Williams. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Ky'Leeonna Quate and Kane Quate Jr., who brought him great joy and fulfillment.

In addition to his family, Jeffery was greatly supported by his siblings, Christopher (Rayetta) Williams and Dawn (Randy) Hillary. He is preceded in death by his father, John J. Williams, and brother's Tom, John, and Timothy.

In his personal life, Jeffery found solace in gardening and a deep appreciation for nature. He was not only an amazing cook but also enjoyed watching his favorite television shows, often inviting friends and family to share in his culinary delights. Those who knew him will remember his ever-present smile and the warmth he radiated to everyone around him.

Jeffery L. Williams leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and a remarkable spirit that will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have shared in his life.

A Mass in celebration of his life will be held at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, located at 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614, on August 16, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM.
