Jeannette M Weber

October 26, 1953 — August 4, 2025

Jeannette M Weber, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in Toledo, Ohio, on August 4, 2025, at the age of 71. She was born on October 26, 1953, to Edward and Mary Ruth Manders, who preceded her in death, along with her husband Nicholas Sr., son-in-law Chuck Wood, grandson Cole Weber, and siblings Bob, Tom, James, and Marjorie.

Jeannette's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community. A dedicated professional, she worked as a secretary at St. Mary’s Catholic School, where her children thrived, and spent time as a sales associate at JC Penney's. Her time at Tri-State Expediting as a dispatcher in logistics showcased her remarkable abilities and work ethic.

Her true legacy, however, lies in the moments shared with her family. Jeannette cherished the time spent camping in the infield at Michigan International Speedway, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air. Tailgating at the Horseshoe in Columbus became a tradition, encapsulating her joy for life and love for her chosen teams, the Green Bay Packers and Ohio State. The warmth of backyard bonfires was complemented by her famous holiday buckeye balls, potato salad, her homemade strawberry jam and her favorite 420 treats, which brought smiles to everyone fortunate enough to enjoy them. She also enjoyed her Saturday's with her husband and friends watching races at Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon.

Jeannette's personality was shaped by her kindness, thoughtfulness, and giving nature. She was a pillar of support for her family, always selfless and caring. Her proudest accomplishments included being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as her many years volunteering at the Toledo Petbull Project.

She leaves behind her devoted son Brian (Michelle) Weber, her loving daughter Brenda (the late Chuck) Wood and her golden boy Nicholas (Lori) Weber Jr; her grandchildren Alexandra, Abigail, Hannah, Lillian, Brittany, Zachary, Austin, Cody, and Kylie; and great-grandchildren Aubrie, Ashten, and Daya, who will forever carry forward her generous spirit and love. Jeannette is also survived by her sister Jaculine Manders, SND, and dear close friend Bob Morales.

A visitation will be held on August 10, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Sylvania, located at 3655 King Rd, Toledo, OH 43617. A funeral service will follow on August 11, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM, with burial later that day at 2:00 PM.

In the hearts of all who knew her, Jeannette's light will continue to shine, and her legacy of love and kindness will remain imprinted in the memories of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
