It is with the heaviest of hearts that we, those who loved her, announce the passing of Jasmine Marie Queen, affectionately known as "Jazz." Jasmine was tragically taken from this life on November 2, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio, at the young age of 19.
Born on December 21, 2005, in Toledo, Ohio, Jasmine brought light, laughter, and love from the very moment she entered this world. Jazz was known for her radiant smile, her compassionate heart, and her unwavering loyalty to those she loved. Her gentle spirit and passionate determination inspired everyone who knew her. Whether she was working hard, fearlessly chasing her dreams, caring for others, or making people laugh with her playful sense of humor,Jasmine left an impression that will never fade.
Jasmine was deeply loved by her family and friends, who will forever cherish the joy and strength she brought into their lives.Though her time here was brief, her life was filled with purpose and love that will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.
She is preceded in death by her father, Brian Primas; her beloved granny, Alieen Hartsock, and her nana, Judy Hartsock.. She is survived by her mother Leslie Queen; grandmother, Mattie Jean; her Godparents Larry J.Taylor II and Pandra L.Taylor: her surrogate father, Charlie and the Doc Watson's family; her siblings Briana (Morreece), Bethany, Brian, and Tiffany. She also leaves behind her best friends Dia and Dyam; her goddaughter Aria, and the "love of her life," Ta' jaye.Jasmine's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, (Southwest Chapel) 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Tuesday, November 11. 2025 from 3:00-6:00 PM. Sharing Memories of Jasmine will begin immediately after visitation at 6:00 PM.
