Janice C. Jackson

Janice Carol Jackson age 86 of Waterville, Ohio formerly of Maumee and Wauseon passed away on June 23, 2026 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born in Wauseon on May 20, 1940 to Carl and Sadie (Leininger) Pennington.

Jan was employed at Globe-Weis and Master Craft for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, gardening and quilting and sewing.

Surviving are her sons, John (Denise) Jackson and Jim Jackson; grandchildren, Benjamin (Ali Fisher) and Melinda (Aaron) McGurk; great-grandchildren, Izzy Jackson, Ellie McGurk and James McGurk; and a brother, Larry Pennington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John and brothers, Lee and Carl Pennington.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Aetna Cemetery, 11400 County Rd. 10-2 in Delta, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd. Perrysburg, OH 43551/
