Jane Elizabeth Kirkham, age 59, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Flower Hospital, in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on April 6, 1962, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late James and Janet (Jerrett) Kirkham.
A passion for animals, Jane was a volunteer for the Pit Crew, where she rescued a pit bull, Remy. Though out her life, she fostered numerous animals. Jane was a great artist; she painted portraits of people's animals.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her sister-in-law, Terry Kirkham; three nephews, Thomas, Michael, and Andrew Kirkham; an uncle, Roderick Jerrett; and cousins, Leslie Stankey, Debbie Colwell, and Craig Colwell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Kirkham.
Janes family would like to thank the staff, in the ICU at Flower Hospital, for there compassionate care that they gave Jane. They are very appreciative of the love and care they received during that time.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Janes name to Humane Ohio or Lucas County Pit Crew. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.NewcomerToledo.com.
