James L. Wade

James L Wade, 84 years old, born on December 26, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio in St.Vincent's Hospital to the late Wade T. Wade and Frances M. (Blair) Wade. He passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

He graduated from Whitmer High School in 1959. He served in the United States Air Force from 1959-1963, being honorably discharged. He was an in-flight bombing and navigation technician on the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress.

His beloved Pat, of 31½ years, passed away on October 22, 2023. Now he is going to be with her for all eternity. She will be easy to find, as she will be holding a balloon that says "I Love You" on it which Jim had placed in her casket.

He held many successful positions in life, mainly businesses. He finally decided what he liked best was to build things, houses, additions, decks, gazebos; so Premier Decks Plus and Wade Construction LLC were born.

He has left behind his Grandchildren: Joseph (Megan) Reams; Great Granddaughter, Ava Reams. Also his Brother-in-Christ Dave Garza and his family.

James will be seen at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 4150 West Laskey Rd, Toledo. Ohio 43614 on Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM. A funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
