James "Jim" R. LaRiviere

James R “Jim” LaRiviere, age 74, of Toledo, OH passed away February 4, 2026. He was born March 20,1951 in Hartford, CT to Roland and Dorothy (LaPointe) LaRiviere.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Vickie L. Belknap.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Caper’s Pizza Bar, 2038 South Byrne Road, Toledo OH 43614 on April 25, 2026, starting at 2 pm.

Jim was the owner/Qualifying Agent of JGI, LLC, a private investigation firm in Maumee, OH. Throughout his years working in the region as a prominent figure in the legal community, he took great pride in the countless cases he undertook. His memory will be cherished by the many whose lives were touched and impacted by his dedication and work.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the Dementia Society of America.
