James L. "Jim" Hart Sr.

James L. “Jim” Hart Sr. age 77 of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Toledo on July 9, 1948 to Donald and Hazel (Stahl) Hart.

Jim was retired from the United States Postal Service. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Surviving are his sons, James (Stacy) Hart Jr., Jason and Justin Hart; grandchildren, Kevin (Dawn) Williams, James (Alicia) Hart III, Jordan (Noelle) Hart and great-grandchildren, Eric, Mason, Peyton, Avian, Easton, Mila and Gabrielle. Also surviving is his brother, Robert “Bob”; sisters, Deloras, Gale, Gloria and Denise. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by brothers, Donald “Bud”, Arthur and sisters, LaDonna, Betty and great-granddaughter, Aria.
