James Allan "Jim" Bower

James Allan "Jim" Bower, age 71, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away January 13, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 22, 1953 in Toledo to Paul and Margaret (McFarland) Bower. Jim was a Registered Nurse for 40 years and lastly as a Cell Saver Auto Transfusionist at various area hospitals. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye, Cincinnati Bengals and Chicago Cubs fan. Jim also enjoyed golfing, softball, traveling, and spending time with family.

 Jim is survived by his wife, Teri (Horen) Bower; children, Lauren (James) Lenning and Derek Bower; twin granddaughters, Emily and Mikayla Long; sister, Peggy (Pete) Morrison; brothers, Dave Bower, Mike (Sandy) Bower; many nieces and nephews; special aunt and uncle, Jim (Diane) McFarland; and feline companion, "Mitty." In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Debbie Bower. Per James wishes, he had requested that there would not be any services.
