James "Bo" Dean Walters

James "Bo" Dean Walters, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on September 1, 2026, in Toledo. He was born on July 7, 1978, in Toledo, Ohio and lived majority of his life in Petersburg, MI.

Bo will be remembered as a hard worker who spent the years of his life in construction, from roofing to general labor. He was someone who valued honest work and gave his time and energy wherever it was needed. Beyond his work, Bo loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Football and baseball were his favorite sports, and he especially loved spending time with his boys. He also enjoyed going up North and hanging out with his family, moments that brought him happiness and meant a great deal to him.

Those who knew Bo will remember his personality just as much as the things he loved to do. He was goofy and funny, with a big heart that showed in the way he treated others. He would help anyone he could, and even when he did not have much, he was still the first to offer whatever help he was able to give. That generosity and kindness left a lasting impression on the people around him.

Bo’s proudest accomplishment was his sons, Austin Walters and Nolan Walters-Bailey, whom he loved deeply. He is also survived by his father, James Walters; his sisters, Amy Walters-Grace, Cindy Walters, and half-sister Brandie Grimm; his step-brother, John Miller; his friend, Angela Bailey, brother-in-law Greg Tuttle, and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Grimm, and his sister, Donna Tuttle.

Bo’s life was shaped by hard work, love for family, and a willingness to help others. He will be remembered with love by those who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Per Bo's wishes, there will be a celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. October 3, 2026 at 4428 North Abbe Road, Comins, MI 48619.
