James E. Beebe

James E. Beebe, aged 86, of Monclova, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, at the Elizabeth Scott Community in Maumee. Born on June 8, 1939, in Toledo to Ralph and Pearl (Myers) Beebe, Jim dedicated much of his life to operating Beebe Construction until his retirement.

He cherished spending time enjoying fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, and playing cards with his friends.

Jim is survived by his wife, Mae Lois (Moore) Beebe; daughters, Tammy Buxton and Julie Wohlers; his grandchildren, Josh, Olivia, Erik, Megan, Samantha, Gary, Michelle, Hopeanne, and Jimmy; and his sister, Marlene (Louie) Buckenmeyer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons John and Donald Beebe; sister Sharon Beebe and brother, Robert Beebe.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will begin immediately following visitation at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow at Roth Memorial Cemetery in Monclova.We celebrate the life of James E. Beebe and the memories he leaves with all who knew and loved him.
