Jacqueline Edna Byrd

Jacqueline E. Byrd, 73, of Toledo passed away on September 3, 2026 in Toledo Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer having her loving husband Robert by her side.

She was born October 11, 1952 to Jack and Edith Grogan in Lejunior, Kentucky Harlan County

She was a 1970 graduate of Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio

She married her husband Robert Byrd on June 30, 2008

She is survived by her husband Robert Byrd

Grandson Jason Lee Orris of Oregon, Ohio

Sister Joyce(Vince)Girardi of Toledo, Ohio

Sister Rose Hill of Lewistown, Montana

Sister Marlene(Roger)Chandler of Williamsburg, Kentucky

And countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Edith Grogan and her son Jason Daniel Orris

She had a great love of art. Her father took her to classes at the Toledo Museum of Art as a child. Her artwork hangs on the walls on every floor of her home.

Also a tremendous lover of animals, especially her two cats Sunny and Star. Also loved sitting on her front porch with her husband Robert feeding the squirrels. She kept a large bag of peanuts for them.

Also a lover of music. Enjoyed going to dinner with her husband Robert and catching a live local band around the Toledo area.

There will not be a service.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
