Jacqueline "Jacci" Burgin

Jacqueline “Jacci” Burgin, 53, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on July 31, 1973, in Toledo, Ohio, and spent her life creating meaningful relationships, caring for those she loved, and finding joy in the simple moments that made life special.

Jacci was a proud graduate of Start High School and dedicated more than 20 years of service to the food industry as a server. Through her work, she became known for her friendly smile, kind heart, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. Whether serving longtime customers or meeting someone for the first time, Jacci treated others like family and brought warmth wherever she went.

On February 2, 1994, Jacci married the love of her life, John Burgin. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Joyce and Brandon, who were the center of her world and her greatest accomplishment.

Jacci treasured the comfort of home and was happiest when surrounded by family. A true homebody, she enjoyed quiet evenings with a good crime novel in hand or relaxing with her daughter Joyce while watching their favorite soap operas together. These simple traditions became cherished memories that her family will carry with them forever.

More than anything, Jacci adored being a grandmother. Her grandchildren, Kylie, Sylis, Carmen, Kassius, and Esme, brought immense joy and purpose to her life. 

She loved celebrating their milestones, hearing their stories, spoiling them with affection, and creating memories they will treasure for years to come. Her love for them knew no bounds, and they were truly the light of her life. Jacci will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 32 years, John Burgin; her children, Joyce (Justin) and Brandon (Casey); her cherished grandchildren, Kylie, Sylis, Carmen, Kassius, and Esme; her mother, Gwen; her stepfather, Harley; her sister, Holley; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who were blessed to know and love her. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael, and her sister, Misty, whom she carried in her heart throughout her life. Jacci will be remembered for her fiery spirit, her unwavering love for her family, her quiet strength, and her ability to make a house feel like a home.

 Though her presence will be profoundly missed, the love she shared, the memories she created, and the countless lives she touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
