Heather Lynn Williams

Heather Williams, 49, to Toledo, OH passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday September 21, 2025, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Heathers date of birth is controversial, either August or September, depending on you ask – the federal government or her Mom. In real life she was born on September 2, 1976, to Richard “Rick” and Terrie Auler in Toledo, Ohio. Heather was a dedicated Mom to her daughters Peyton and Cassidy, a Momma to Jeremiah, and a Gaga to Noah and Jennifer, a daughter, a sister, and a friend to so many.

Heather cherished the time she spent with her daughters and grandchildren; they were her reason for waking up. She Face Timed with Cassidy and Noah every day. When Heather wasn’t with her daughters, grandchildren, or friends she could be found catching up on General Hospital or Bachelor/Bachelorette drama. Ultimately, Heathers world revolved around her love for God and her family.

Heather has been sober for 6 years. Heather faced her battles in life with courage and a determination to continue on her sobriety journey. Though her life was not without challenges, she found strength in love for God, her family, especially her grandchildren, and her desire to rebuild and strengthen the bonds she had with them. For the last 6 years, Heather has fought tirelessly to overcome her past working to be the mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend they deserved and the women she knew she was.

Heather is survived by her daughters Peyton Williams, Cassidy (Justin) Salazar, Grandchildren Jeremiah and Jennifer Williams, Noah Salazar, Mother Terrie Auler, Brother Steve Auler, ex-husband Ron Williams II and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will take place on Friday September 26, from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Heathers honor to Racing for Recovery or donating to the GoFundMe to help with final expenses.
