Heather Culbreath, age 54, of Swanton passed away peacefully Monday March 24, 2025 surrounded by family. Born October 27, 1970 in Tampa Florida to William Culbreath and Theresa Williams. She attended Swanton High School, where she fell in love with show choir.
Heather will be remembered for her love of animals, nature, family, reading and her talents with art. Being skilled in wood burning, drawing, and painting, she would spend hours working on new projects. Her love for art only being outmatched by her love for nature and the outdoors, whether it was taking in new life or caring for her multitudes of pets she could usually be found taking care of her farm. Heather always loved and was fascinated by the ocean, and aspired to be a Marine Biologist. Travel was always thrilling to her and she was inspired by seeing all the places she lived including her favorites, Florida and Italy. She was a warm coffee on a spring morning kind of soul who always dreamed of ways to do better.
Heather is survived by her children Jessica Crawford (Ted), Danielle Culbreath, Austin Wise; Grandchildren Brayden-Lee Crawford, Ronan Beaman, Atlas Beaman, Kira Lee Holey, and Ryder Willis; Mother Theresa Williams (Owen); Step Parents Carol and Donald Horen, and Cheryl Culbreath; Siblings Jennifer “Lani” Tielking (Robert), Joshua Fischer, Matthew Culbreath (Brandie), Kimberly Sparr (Stephen) and Amber Culbreath(Joshua).
