Harry P. Morell, Jr.

Harry P. Morell, Jr. of Toledo, OH passed away September 15, 2026 at University of Toledo Medical Center where he was surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 19, 1953 in Toledo to Harry and Fawn Ruth (Hochmuth) Morell. Harry was employed with Lucas County Sanitary Engineers for more than years 34 as a heavy equipment operator and head mechanic, retiring in 2008. He was a Ford Mustang enthusiast and an avid NASCAR and NHRA racing fan. Harry enjoyed traveling up north and spending time outdoors while taking his granddaughter for walks, relaxing in the sun, or caring for his lawn and yard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jeanette; children, Matthew Morell and Tamara (Scott) Morell; granddaughter, Clare Kepic; sister, Marsha (Terry) Morell; nephew, Kevin Jacobs (Rosa) and fellow car enthusiast and best-friend, Roger Goodman. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, half-sister, Barbara Rang and nephew, Ryan Jacobs.

A Celebration of Harry's Life will be held at a later date.
