Harold C. Stewart, age 93, of Maumee, OH passed away November 1, 2025, at Foundation Park Care Center. He was born November 26, 1931, in Toledo to Raymond and Edna Stewart. Harold volunteered to serve his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
When Harold returned from the war he began working as an automobile mechanic. He married the love of his life, Nancy, in May of 1961. They enjoyed western style square dancing together. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed leading his son’s Boy Scout Troop 105. Our family enjoyed many camping trips to scenic places throughout the United States. Nancy planned the trips and Harold made sure things went smoothly along the way. His greatest joy was his six grandchildren. He would show their pictures to anyone he would meet while telling them “I’m the richest man in the world!” In his later life he joined the 111th Ohio Volunteer Infantry and enjoyed shooting black powder guns for competition. He retired from Brown Honda in 1997.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his brothers, William (Bill), Raymond, and Richard (Dick) Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Stewart; children, Allen “Mick” Stewart and Susan (Pete) Long; grandchildren, Evan (Robin Skrbina) Long, Emily Long, Natalie (Jake) Smolarek, Matthew Stewart, Nathan Stewart, and Andrew Stewart; and sister Doris Lynch, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
