Listen to Obituary

Gregory Arthur Drewyor (75) passed away the morning of Monday August 10th 2026. He was born on October 19, 1950 to the late George and Darlene (Reissig) Drewyor. Greg graduated from Start High School in 1968 then went on to earn his Associate’s degree from the University of Toledo.

In 1981, Greg opened Pisanello’s Pizza, or the Pizza Shop as family called it, with his brothers George and Tom. The pizza shop holds many family memories; Greg’s kids spent plenty of time there to work and play. Learning how to cook and manage from an early age all three kids went on to manage people either on a job site or in a classroom. After the shop closed, Greg continued his career in restaurant management at Bob Evans. He thoroughly enjoyed each team member and customer he met throughout his career. In retirement, Greg embraced family values. Always making sure to attend as many Drewyor/Ford/Reissig family events as he could. He relished in the conversation of others and was typically leaned on as a family elder and historian.

Greg was an avid sports fan who was especially passionate about the Cleveland Indians (Guardians) and the Browns, he would follow in any way he could, including listening to the games on the radio. With the help of his brother George, he coached the Whittier Braves little league baseball team while his boys played. Both sons also followed in his footsteps coaching their kids on the ballfield as he followed his dad before him. For his grandkids, he was always their biggest fan. It didn’t matter what the accomplishment was, Greg celebrated them be it- early life milestones (walking, talking, counting, cursing), sports or academics. He inspired confidence and loved to listen to them tell stories. He also loved to give them a $2 bill so they would “never be broke.”

A man with his own sense of style, Greg loved conversations that were initiated due to his special mustache. He loved dressing up for special occasions and lived for social engagements. Greg loved family dinners where he could spend time with his kids and grandkids. He cherished gatherings that allowed him to visit with his siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Those left to celebrate his memory include his ex-wife and best friend of over 50 years, Karen, his daughter, Cindy Senn and sons, Tim and Dan (Courtney). He is also survived by his granddaughters, Morgan, Hailey, Payton, Kennedy and Kendall; grandsons, Timmy, Mateo, Ethan, Cameron, Orlando and Daniel and his great-granddaughter, Violet. Greg is also survived by his uncle, Art (Glenda), his sisters, Denise (Roger) and Kim (Wade); brothers, Tim (Teri), George, and Tom; and too many cousins, nieces and nephews to count. In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his baby sister, Janice.
