Goldie Marie Hill

February 1, 1971 — May 23, 2025

Goldie Marie Hill, a cherished mother, wife, and Yaya, passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 54, in Millbury, Ohio, surrounded by the everlasting love of her family. Born on February 1, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois, Goldie touched the hearts of many through her caring, loving demeanor and dedication to those she held dear.

Goldie was a remarkable woman whose life revolved around her family. With a heart full of stories, she loved to share memories at family gatherings and particularly delighted in the joy of the Christmas holidays, where laughter and love filled the air. She was an outspoken and selfless soul, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a thoughtful gesture. Her creativity flourished in her hobbies; she found joy in crocheting gifts for her beloved grandchildren, gardening, scavenging for bargains at garage sales, and indulging in her passion for cooking, often preparing delicious meals for her family. She also enjoyed unwinding with murder mystery and mob shows, reveling in the suspense and surprise they held.

Throughout her life, Goldie celebrated her proudest accomplishments as a devoted wife to her husband John R. Hill, a nurturing mother to her children, and a doting “Yaya” to her grandchildren. Her love knew no bounds as she doted on her son Anthony and her granddaughter Ena Bena. She treasured her moments watching her grandkids play sports, filled with pride seeing her son coach them. Goldie's legacy is carried on by her loving husband, daughters Toni Lumbreras (Justin) and Jessalena Lumbreras (Donny), son Anthony Lumbreras and his wife Alicia, her step-sons Robert and Juan Hill, and her adoring grandchildren: Anecia, Nevaeh, Justin, Daniella, Dalena, Daniel, Vicente, Thaliana, Amancio, Levi, Lilly, Luke, Abel, and Beaux. Her spirit will also be missed by her brother Paul Lockhart, her beloved dog Kobe, and her extended family of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Goldie was preceded in death by her father, Paul Lockhart, her mother, Jeanne Lockhart, her brother, Shane Lockhart, her grandmother, Polly Jeffers, and her parents-in-law, John and Mary Jo Hill. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, leaving a void that will be felt deeply by her family.

Family and friends are invited to honor Goldie's life during a visitation on May 29, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623.
