Glenda M. Mosley

Glenda M. Mosley, (Hunt) of Toledo, Ohio was born on August 14, 1941, in Bald knob, AR. she passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Old Orchard Care Center. A devoted Christian who deeply believed in God, Glenda was a cherished member of Friendship Baptist Church, where her faith and love for people were evident to all who knew her.

Glenda graduated from the University of Toledo and dedicated a significant part of her professional life as the Manager of Surgery, a role in which she demonstrated exceptional leadership and compassion.

Her warmth extended far beyond her career. Glenda had a vibrant spirit and a genuine love for bringing people together. She treasured going for walks, singing in the church choir, traveling, and especially cooking. Through her cooking, she created bonds of friendship and family; her famous key lime pie was a much-anticipated treat at birthdays, and her meatloaf was renowned and beloved by all who had the pleasure to taste it.

She is survived by her son, Jarrod Mosley; stepdaughters Laurie Mosley and Dawn Crowley; stepson William Boone; grandchildren Jarrod Mosley Jr., Brandon J. Waites, Jarricka Mosley, Jessica Mosley, William Jr and Lafonda Willis; as well as 12 great-grandchildren who carry forward her legacy. Glenda also leaves behind her brothers Milton (Imelda) Hunt and Lamonte Hunt, and her sister-in-law Gwen Hunt. Glenda’s life was preceded in death by her parents, Irma and Milton Hunt; her husband, William Mosley; her son, Darrick Mosley; her brother, David Hunt; and her stepdaughter, Debbie Mosley.

The family extends a special thank you to Bernetta and Leslie Boyd, Gloria Chapman, and Pastor Cynthia Webber for their unwavering support and kindness during this time.

A gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Toledo, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, Ohio 43614.

Glenda M. Mosley’s life was a testament to faith, family, and friendship. Her nurturing spirit, unwavering devotion to her beliefs, and the warmth she shared with others will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all fortunate enough to have known her.
