Glen’s professional journey as a talented machinist led him far beyond the borders of his Ohio roots. His remarkable skills took him across the country and to various parts of the world. Glen’s craftsmanship and technical acumen were widely respected, and his ability to take apart and build almost anything was a source of both pride and wonder for those who knew him. Always keen to stay abreast of the latest advancements, Glen was often the first among friends and family to have the newest technology. His inquisitive spirit and mechanical mastery set a lasting example for his children and grandchildren.

Though Glen’s accomplishments were many, it was his character that left the deepest impression. He was a quiet, strong man of very few words—a person whose patience seemed boundless and whose presence brought a sense of steadiness to those around him. He was the beloved husband of the late Carolyn Hunter, and his memory is lovingly carried forward by his daughters, Christine Alt and husband David, Michelle Hunter-Stalets and husband Christopher. He found joy in the achievements and growth of his grandchildren: Steve Odom, Brandon Odom, Ben Stalets and wife Noelle, Nick Stalets, Hannah Alt, and Josh Alt.

Those who knew Glen best will remember his love for his family, his endless curiosity, and his generous spirit. His quiet kindness and wit brought warmth to every gathering, and his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him. Glen was dearly loved by his daughters and grandchildren, and he will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
