Gayle K. Bell, born on May 19, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on November 24 2024, in Sylvania, Ohio. Gayle lived a life dedicated to her family and faith, enriching the lives of those around her. For many years she served as a bank teller in Toledo, Ohio, where her warm demeanor and commitment to service left a lasting impression on her colleagues and customers alike.
Gayle was a creative soul with an abundance of interests. She took great joy in playing card games, attending movies, and enjoying lunches with friends and loved ones. Her artistic side flourished through her passion for pottery and ceramics, needlepoint, and scrapbooking. Gayle was a truly crafty person, constantly exploring new ways to express herself and share her creativity.
Above all, Gayle cherished the time spent with her family and friends. She attended many local churches, her latest church family was with Toledo Trinity Church of the Nazarene. The connections she built were a source of pride and fulfillment in her life. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around her family, reflecting the love and devotion she held for them.
She is survived by her son Richard Bell and wife Chery, son Adam Bell and wife Sandra, and son Wade Bell and husband Joe. Gayle also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Nicholas Bell, Stephanie Morris, Adam Matthew Bell, Brooke Bell, and Dylan Bell. She will be lovingly remembered by her great-grandsons, Ashton Morris and Neil Morris, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Gayle was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard Bell, her son Matthew Bell, her brother William Freshley, and her sisters Karen Taylor and Shirley Olson.
A memorial service to honor Gayle's life will be held on January 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Toledo Trinity Church of the Nazarene, located at 4930 Flanders Rd, Toledo, OH 43623. Family and friends are invited to gather as they celebrate the remarkable life of a woman who meant so much to so many. Gayle K. Bell will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.
