Gary C. Davis age 82 of Sylvania, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024 at The Lakes of Sylvania. He was born in Toledo on September 23, 1941 to Comer and Margaret Davis.
Gary was a 1959 Rogers High School Graduate. He then attended The University of Toledo where he was a member of the ROTC. He then transferred and completed his college work in 1965 from Davis Business college.
He began his career in the City of Adrian, Michigan, then moved back to Toledo to work for Surface Combustion for many years and then transferred to Charlotte, North Carolina to continue with a division of Surface Combustion. Later returning to Toledo, Ohio to continue with Surface Combustion, then working independently and finally for The Sisters of St. Francis at Convent Garden Apartments where he was adored by all the residents for his handy work.
Gary enjoyed his doting wife and three beautiful daughters. He liked working on his cars, his homes, and all things Elvis! His life long hobbies were photography, movies, and all music. He dabbled in leather working and enjoyed all 5 of his grandchildren and great grandchildren in his retired years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judith Davis; daughters, Dawn Dwornick, Brooke (Bryan) Bellman and Eve (Brian) Johnson; grandchildren, Justin Anderson, Kristal Anderson, Autumn Johnson, Austin Johnson and Amber Davis and great-granddaughter, Josephine Anderson. Also surviving are his siblings, Martin (Claudette) Davis and Diane (Kenneth) Naus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son-in-law, Robert Dwornick.
