Frances "Frankie" Dunson joined this earth on June 22, 1920 and departed on August 3, 2025. During her amazing 105 years she was a beacon of light and joy to anyone she encountered. She was as sharp as a tac, smart, resourceful, loyal, and giving.
She was a proud Scott High School BullDog, even receiving one of their T-shirt's as a gift for her 104th birthday. Frankie enjoyed cross word puzzles, reading her Toledo Blade newspaper, and baking. She made the best macaroni and cheese and homemade fudge bars.
Frankie cherished her friendships made during her time with her weekly visits from the Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol (RSVP) of the Toledo Police Department. She was the eldest parishioner at Saint Martin De Porres church.
She has gone on to join her parents, siblings, nephews, & dearest friend Sharon Ann Barnes. She leaves behind her Nieces Francine Bradley, Melissa Barnes, Tyreese Barnes, Felicia Barnes, & Laura Barnes. Nephews Dale Bradley, Anthony Barnes, Mark Barnes, Donald Barnes, David Barnes, & many others who loved her dearly. Special acknowledgment for Mrs. Kathy Jeffrey, Jeanny Amidon, Janet Beam, Sister Virginia "Ginny" Welsh, Michelle Williams, and Dale Williams whom stayed by Frankie's side, celebrating her until the very end. To know her is to love her. Rest Peacefully My Angel.
