Evelyn Augustyniak

Evelyn Bernice Augustyniak, age 97, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away September 16, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Evelyn was born September 8, 1926 in Toledo to Max and Hattie (Siwa) Zdawczyk. She was a homemaker, dedicating her entire life to her children and family. Evelyn was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church where she participated in the Altar Rosary Society and St. Hyacinth Seniors Club.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Stephen Augustyniak, sons, Gary and David Augustyniak, grandson, Ronald Alan Walters, and her three siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Ron) Walters; son, Dale (Sue) Augustyniak; grandchildren, Jeff, Brad (Jodi), Cari (Joe), Michael, Lori (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Nicole, Kendall, Katelyn, Sadie, Chase, Blaize, Harper, Lucy, Sophie and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive guests Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 719 Evesham Ave Toledo, OH 43607 (419-535-7077). Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Hyacinth Church in Evelyn's memory, where she was a lifelong member.
