Eve Ann Tallman, age 72, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, at UTMC. She was born on March 2, 1954, in Washington, D.C.
Eve devoted her life to caring for others, working as an aide at Concord where her compassion and gentle spirit touched countless lives. She had a deep love for nurturing both people and nature, finding joy in gardening—especially tending to her beloved tomatoes and sunflowers.
A creative soul, Eve expressed herself through poetry and art. A true flower child at heart, she embraced life with openness, kindness, and a strong sense of activism. She found peace and inspiration in libraries, music, and the simple beauty of the world around her.
Above all, Eve cherished her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her life, and she poured her love into each of them. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend—an amazing woman whose warmth and spirit will live on in those who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Erin Elizabeth Stahl; sons, Garland Wade (Tamara) Tallman V, Eamon Michael Tallman, and Ian Tallman; grandchildren, Garland Wade VI, Brodie Alan, Evan Caynn, Mason Dean, Connor Lennon and Penelope Tallulah Tallman; siblings, Mark Bestic (Wilma) Gorman, Lisa Marie Gorman, Keith Paul Phelan (Cheryl Roberts) Gorman, and Bridget Rose (Cully) Davis; nieces and nephews, Carla Gorman, Natalie Gorman, Collin Gorman, Tyler Phelan Davis, and Chloe Cullum Davis; and her dear friends, Jenny, Mary Smith, and Karen Harmon.
Eve was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Richard and Evelyn Mae Gorman; her husband, Garland Wade Tallman IV; and her infant daughter, Siobhan Tallman.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Eve’s life was a testament to love, creativity, and compassion. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
