Eulah A. Woods

Eulah Woods, a cherished member of her community and beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, at the age of 90 in her hometown of Toledo, Ohio. Born on October 2, 1934, Eulah was a lifelong resident of Toledo, where she made numerous contributions both professionally and personally.

Eulah graduated from Woodward High School in the class of 1955. She embarked on a commendable career at Columbia Gas Company, where she served as a supervisor for 30 years. Her dedication and work ethic left an indelible mark on her colleagues and the industry.

Throughout her life, Eulah was known for her passion for reading and her deep appreciation of classical music, pursuits that enriched her life and allowed her to connect with others who shared her interests. Friends and family members often fondly recall her spirited discussions about books and music, reflecting her vibrant intellect and creativity.

Eulah's legacy continues through her loving children, Theodore Lewis, Rebecca Gerber, and Sean Woods, as well as her two grandchildren, who carry her spirit forward. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Teddie Woods, and her parents, Paul and Dorothy Foster. Eulah also lost two brothers and one sister, who were dearly missed.

Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends, honoring the warmth, love, and wisdom she generously shared throughout her life.
