With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a truly remarkable woman whose love, laughter, and kindness touched everyone who knew her. Eugenia Irene Sargent, better known as “Jeanie,” was born on December 13, 1973 to Janice and Randall Sargent. She passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026.
She was a devoted mother to her two children, Christopher and Miranda Sargent, whom she loved with all her heart. Nothing brought her greater joy than her family, especially her three grandsons Amiliano Sargent, Chanan Travis Jr, Joevanni Reid and one granddaughter Mariella Reid. They were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she lived each day loving and supporting them unconditionally.
She was a loving sister to her two brothers Michael (Mary) Stinson and Geoff (Dezerea)Stinson and cared deeply for their spouses. Her love extended throughout her family, including her cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Known for her vibrant personality and warm spirit, she was often the life of the party. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, loved, and included. Whether gathered with family, spending time with friends, or simply sharing a meal at her favorite restaurant, she found happiness in being around people and creating lasting memories.
She enjoyed diamond painting, puzzles, and word searches, activities that reflected her patience, creativity, and love for life’s simple pleasures. She treasured the time spent laughing, talking, and making memories with those she loved.
Though she is no longer with us, her love, strength, laughter, and countless memories will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, kindness, and devotion that will never be forgotten.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. So loved, so missed, so very dear.”
