Born August 7, 1940 in Lowndesboro, Alabama to Mack Reese and Amelia Robinson, Ernest James "Dean" Robinson received his wings April 11, 2025. Moving to Sandusky, OH in the 60's he attended Sandusky High School. In his living he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, singing with the Ohio Players and other musical groups, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Leaving memories to cherish and celebrate his life are his devoted wife of seven years Brenda Williams-Robinson, sister Easter Williams, daughters Monique Robinson Barrett (Reginald), Traci Helton-Adeyemo (Isaac), Shawyna Williams and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a man of peace. Often taught that life is better than staying angry at one another. Get on with it and get back to loving one another. The simple things kept him happy. A simple bag of chips. A simple ball game on tv. A simple day of fishing. A simple day watching westerns. A simple day making sure his neighbor was home and ok. A simple ride around Toledo enjoying music, talking and singing. A simple day sitting on the porch with a glass of lemonade. A simple back road trip to Sandusky! (Granni hated those.) But through it all the message, and the life was plain and right to the point. Does it take that much to be happy? It takes more energy to hate than to love. Takes less muscles to smile than to frown. It takes much less energy to give a hug than to shove. Brother/Mr./Pa-pa Ernie we thank you for the memories, the life, the love, and the message. Rest up and fish until we see you again.
The missing piece to our puzzle. We thank God for the love, the wisdom, and the time shared with you that we will forever keep in our hearts. Thank you for loving our Mom (Granni) so well.
