Eric V. Lewis

Eric V. Lewis, passed away on May 18, 2025, in Perrysburg, Ohio. He was born on April 1, 1965, in Toledo, Ohio, and throughout his life, he exemplified the qualities of a dedicated husband, father, brother, and friend.

Eric had an engaging personality that truly lit up a room. Known as a people person, he connected effortlessly with others, often leaving a trail of laughter in his wake thanks to his amazing sense of humor. His ability to make others feel valued and appreciated was one of his most admirable traits.

Eric was a man of many interests. He enjoyed the great outdoors, finding joy in hunting and fishing. He also had a knack for tinkering on lawn mowers, a pastime that brought him satisfaction and often resulted in cherished moments spent with family and friends. Additionally, Eric was passionate about music, having played in the bands GoiNowhere and Box Lunch, where he shared his love for performance and the camaraderie that comes with it. He was also the proud owner of E. Lewis Remodeling for 25 years.

Family was incredibly important to Eric. He is survived by his cherished wife of 34 years, Betty Lewis, and his two sons, Kristopher and Nicholas Lewis. Eric shared a close bond with his siblings, which included brothers Dave, Tim (Robin), Danny (Lorie), Larry (Tina), and Tony (Sue) Lewis, as well as his sisters Kathy Miller, Avie (David) Shaver, and Jenni (Pete) Gerritzen. Each of them will carry forward his spirit and the wonderful memories they created together. He was preceded in death by his parents, Les and Peg Lewis, and his brother, Mike.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 12:00 pm until the start of the Funeral Service at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd, Toledo, Ohio.
