Elouise Rease

Elouise Rease, aged 66, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Born on January 25, 1960, in Toledo to Bennie and Ivory (Kade) Lofton, Elouise was a devoted daughter and a cherished member of her community.

Throughout her career, Elouise showed unwavering dedication as a Manager at Popeyes and shared her talents with Discovery Books and, most recently, Ryan and Sons. Her commitment and work ethic were deeply appreciated by all who knew her.

A survivor of cancer, Elouise had a great love for animals and was known for her compassionate and generous spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Ivory Lofton, as well as her sister, Viola Lofton, and brother, Kenneth Lofton. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Betty (Vincent) Copeland, Bennie Lofton, Ivory Lofton, James (Cyrilene) Lofton, Joseph Lofton, David Lofton, Eddie (Tiffany) Lofton, Johnny Lofton, Tina (Brundell) Taylor, and Sandy Lofton. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.

A Memorial Service to honor Elouise’s life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer SW Chapel, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo.
