Elaine Renee Sutton

Elaine Renee Sutton was born on December 1, 1962, to Twilya Jean Sutton at Maumee Valley Hospital in Toledo, Ohio; she went home to be with her heavenly father on September 26, 2026 at Old Orchard Nursing and Respiratory Center.

Elaine’s journey through life was marked by a deep commitment to her loved ones. A proud member of the Drummond Libbey High School class of 1981. Elaine worked many years for the Toledo Hospital in the dietary department where she earned many service awards throughout her years. She accepted Christ at an early age at Love Missionary Baptist Church in Swanton, Ohio. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed word search puzzles, coloring and listening to music.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Twilya Jean Sutton-Lucas; stepfather, Reginald Lucas; grandparents, Catherine A. Sutton and O’Tanner Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Marcus (Lakresha) Sutton Sr. and Michael White Jr.; brothers, Albert (Annette) and Stevon (Deonna) Sutton; sisters, Ulonda (Stacey) Sutton and Catherine (Monty) Sutton-Griffin; grandchildren, Mi’Kiyah White, Marcus Sutton Jr., Aniyrah, Ashton and Michael White III; and a host of nieces, nephews, and the Wiggins Family.
