Listen to Obituary

With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Edward “Eddie” DeLuna on July 15, 2026, at the age of 37.

Eddie was a devoted spouse, an incredible father, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend whose love for his family knew no bounds. To know Eddie was to know kindness, strength, loyalty, and unconditional love. He had a heart that would do anything for the people he cared about, and his greatest purpose in life was the family he loved so fiercely.

Eddie proudly worked as a forklift operator at Product Forwarding, where he was known for his dedication and hard work. Outside of work, he found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He loved fishing, coaching his children’s sports teams, cheering on his beloved Michigan Wolverines and the Denver Broncos, and making memories with those he loved most. Whether it was laughing around a campfire, spending time outdoors, or simply enjoying life’s little moments with his family, Eddie treasured every second.

Above all else, Eddie was a family man. He leaves behind the love of his life, his devoted spouse, Nichole; his children, Armondo, Nevaeh, Alonzo, Dominik, and his baby girl, Journee; and the two nieces he proudly helped raise and loved as his own, Janet and Toni. His love, guidance, and unwavering devotion to each of them will remain with them forever.

He is also survived by his loving father, Richard DeLuna; his one and only sister, Kristine DeLuna; his brother, Richard DeLuna Jr.; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing him.

Eddie was welcomed into Heaven by his beloved mother, Janet (Maluchnik) DeLuna; his beloved brother, Anthony “Tony” DeLuna; his beloved niece, Delicia Johnson; and his beloved nephew, Jayceon DeLuna. While our hearts ache from his absence, we find peace in knowing they were there to welcome him home with open arms.

After a tragic motorcycle accident, Eddie fought with incredible courage, strength, and determination for nearly five months. Through every setback and every small victory, he never fought alone. He was surrounded every single day by the unwavering love of his spouse, children, family, and friends, who remained faithfully by his side. His resilience inspired everyone who had the privilege of witnessing his journey, and his fight became a powerful reminder of the strength of hope, faith, and unconditional love.

Although his time on earth was far too short, Eddie’s legacy will live on through the family he cherished and the countless lives he touched. His smile, laughter, generous heart, and steadfast love will never be forgotten. A love like Eddie’s comes once in a lifetime, and those who knew him are forever better because of it.
