Edna "Robin" D. Smith

Miss Edna D. Smith (Robin) entered into eternal rest on May 17, 2025 at her home in Toledo, Ohio at the age of 69.

Edna was affectionately Known to all as "Robin", "Bird", or “Tweety”.

Edna was born on October 15, 1955 in Roxboro, North Carolina to her late parents, William and Frances Smith. She found Christ at an early age and was a woman of good faith. She was a terrific mother and loved her only grandson, Andre’.

In her spare time Edna loved watching her soap operas (Channel 11), Shopping with her sisters, bowling on Saturday mornings, and quietly reading her books, she also loved her white gold and sterling silver jewelry. Along with her perfume collection.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter Tammy "Tam" Hicks of Toledo, Ohio; grandson, Andre’ Mallett of Toledo, Ohio; and sister, Frances "Loretta" Bradsher of Toledo, Ohio. Also, to be missed by 3 nieces, 8 nephews, 15 great nephews, 7 great nieces, along with great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Blondell Bobbitt (Toledo, Ohio); brothers, Douglas (Doug) Smith (Sharon, Pennsylvania), William A. Smith (Brown) (Toledo, Ohio); brothers-in-law, Romie Bobbitt Jr. (Toledo, Ohio), Jerry Bradsher (Roxboro, North Carolina) and great niece, Jerrica Tyson (Memphis, Tennessee).

Friends and family will be received at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, Ohio 43614 on Thursday, May 29, 2025 11:00 AM-12:00 PM with a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
