Edith Tussing, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of her family, passed away on September 24, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio. Born on February 27, 1939, Edith lived a life marked by love, family, hard work, and dedication to those she held dear.

Edith was a loving and devoted mother whose greatest legacy was the family she nurtured and loved throughout her life. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Richard Tussing, Rodney Tussing, and Ronald Tussing; her 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest blessing, and the love she poured into them will continue to live on through generations.

Edith was also a hardworking woman who proudly supported her family throughout her working years. She was employed by Campbell’s, Fashion Bug, and Foodtown, where she spent many years working and building relationships with those around her.

Edith was preceded in death by her beloved husband; her parents; her brother; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Though her family feels the deep sorrow of her passing, they can take comfort in the beautiful life she lived and the many lives she touched. Her love, strength, memories, and the values she passed down will remain a part of her family forever.

Edith leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her life was a gift, her memory a treasure, and her love will never be forgotten.

May she rest peacefully, surrounded by the love she gave so freely to others. A visitation in her honor will be held Monday Oct 5, 2026 for 4-7pm at Newcomer 4150 West Laskey Road , Toledo, Ohio 43623

A Graveside service will be held Tuesday October 6, 2026 at 12 noon at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Waterville, Ohio.
