Edgar A. Rodenhauser peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026. He was born in Toledo on July 21, 1932, to George and Clara (Seeger) Rodenhauser.

A graduate of Libbey High School, Toledo, Ohio in 1950 and a veteran of the Army, Ed served during the Korean conflict. Ed worked at the McCaw Company in Toledo for many years prior to retirement in 1997. A life-long member of St. Petri Lutheran Church, Toledo, Ohio, is where he met his wife, Suzanne Grace (McNary) Rodenhauser. They were married for 67 years before Sue’s death in January 2021.

Edgar’s deceased siblings include Alvin Lester Rodenhauser, Leola Edith Rodenhauser (Boissey), Jeanette Irene Rodenhauser (Clawson), and George Ronald Rodenhauser. Ed is survived by close friends, Jeff and Diana Salisbury, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at St. Petri Lutheran Church 3120 South Byrne Road, Toledo, OH 43614 on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 10-11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Ed and Sue will be privately interred at Toledo Memorial Park spending eternity together.  In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be made to St. Petri Lutheran Church. Arrangements will be provided by Newcomer Funeral Home, (Southwest Chapel) Toledo.
