Eddie Lamont White, affectionately known as “Fast Eddie,” was born on September 13, 1961, in Buffalo, New York, and later made his home in Toledo, Ohio. He passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, at Arbors of Oregon, leaving behind a legacy marked by love, laughter, and unmistakable spirit.
Raised by his devoted parents, Charles and Laseen Fisher, Eddie embraced life with boldness and heart. He was preceded in death by them, as well as by his sisters Essie Mae and JuneAnn.
To know Eddie was to feel his vibrant presence—he was the storm that shook things up and the rainbow that followed. Fiercely loyal and deeply loving, his energy radiated especially strong for his family.
Eddie's love of cars earned him his nickname “Fast Eddie,” a title that captured both his passion and personality. He lived fast, laughed loud, and loved deeply.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: LaTisha, Darnell of Orlando, Florida, and Eddie Jr. of Toledo, Ohio. His siblings: Charles (JoAnn) of California, Larry, Jeffery, and Tony (Frankie) of Toledo, Ohio, and Terri of Lansing, Michigan. Eddie was a proud grandfather to Jaden, Ja'Kai, Ky'Rie, and Aubri. He also held a special place in his heart for his godchildren: Dwaun Hicks, Jimell, and Maray Woods.
His life was woven with the love of countless nieces, nephews, extended family, and devoted friends. Eddie’s memory lives on in every laugh shared, every story retold, and every heart he left lighter.
